Method #3 (Thumb Drive)

If the computers are not on the same network, and you do not have access to cloud storage, you can use a thumb drive (also known as a USB drive).  This method allows you to run Farm Report on multiple computers, but only on one computer at a time.

The Farm Report program and its data file will reside on the thumb drive.  With a small amount of set up (on each computer), you will be able to run Farm Report on multiple computers (one at a time), all using the same data file.

The following instructions assume that you have downloaded Farm Report.jar to the first computer.

Initial Set Up

• Set Up Thumb Drive
• Set Up Farm Report on First Computer
• Set Up Farm Report on Other Computer(s)

Going Forward

Once you have completed the initial set up process on a given computer, you can run Farm Report again on that computer by inserting the thumb drive and double-clicking on Farm Report.jar in the thumb drive folder.
