The 'Wasted Date' is wrong (Farm Town only)

The waste times that Farm Report shows for Farm Town items are 'pessimistic'.  In other words, Farm Report will show items as wasted even though they are still harvestable in Farm Town.  (This is not true for FarmVille items.  For FarmVille, Farm Report's waste times are true to the actual game's waste times.)

The problem is: Farm Town claims that the waste time is roughly equal to the growth time, but that is not actually true.  It was true at one time, but the Farm Town developers have changed it.  I have not been able to determine the new formula that Farm Town uses to calculate the waste time.

So, until I get a more accurate formula for calculating the waste time, Farm Report will continue to use 'waste = growth * 1.0'.  It is preferable for Farm Report to be pessimistic, rather than optimistic, in its calculation.  That way, if Farm Report shows that a crop is not yet wasted, you can be sure that you can still harvest it.  But if Farm Report shows that it is wasted, you might still be able to harvest it.
